I finally worked us out to where we had enough room to take off into the wind. Well, almost into the wind. I had to get up to speed in the channel then turn into the wind for the take off. Works OK. We landed back at the farm and I parked on a concrete area. I got her out and hugged her. I told her to come with me, She said she knew I had to wash down the plane after being in salt water, and that she would help. "Honey, just step over here and I will show you how to do it."
I lifted a small metal door in the deck and turned a valve and a cloud of spray covered the old plane from every possible direction. She laughed, "I should have known you wouldn't put an old girl to bed with out taking care of her first."
